IEEE Montreal Section 2023 Service Award / Prix de reconnaissance pour service rendu à la section IEEE de Montreal

IEEE Montreal awards Professor Hamadou Saliah-Hassane of TELUQ University the Section Volunteer Service Award for a sustained dedication and major contributions made to the section. Professor Saliah-Hassane is a member of several IEEE societies, including the Education Society, of which he was a founding member of the Montreal Chapter, serving as Chair from 2005 to 2022. Under his leadership, the section won the 2020 IEEE Education Society Chapter Achievement Award.
IEEE, whose slogan is “Advancing Technology for Humanity”, is a global meta-professional organization also involved in the development of international standards.
L’IEEE de Montréal décerne au Professeur Hamadou Saliah-Hassane de l’université TELUQ le Prix de service bénévole rendu à la section. Ce prix récompense le dévouement soutenu et les contributions majeures apportées à la section. Le primé est membre de plusieurs Société de l’IEEE dont celui de l’Éducation dont il a été membre fondateur du chapitre de Montréal qu’il avait présidé de 2005 à 2022. Sous son leadership, la section avait obtenu le « Achievement Award » de 2020 du meilleur chapitre de IEEE Education Society.
IEEE dont le slogan est “Faire avancer les technologies pour l’humanité” est une méta organisation professionnelle mondiale qui s’occupent également de développement de normes internationales.
