This year, Empower a Billion Lives is participating in #IEEEGivingTuesday. The Empower a Billion Lives Global Competition challenges teams from all over the world to develop scalable solutions to energy access that are affordable for families making less than $1.90 per day who live without access to energy services. And when IEEE Empower a Billion Lives reaches 30 individual donors, the IEEE Foundation will make a matching US$500 grant.
