Objective

The goal of the Ottawa Chapter of the IEEE Power and Electronics Society (PELS) is to serve its members by organizing and providing technical, educational and professional meetings as well as seminars, forums, symposia and conferences presented by experienced speakers and distinguished lecturers.

Topics are a broad range of disciplines, and mainly focused on power electronics devices and their applications for different co-application of solid-state electronics to the control and conversion of electric power. electric power and energy, merging technologies and the latest technological developments in the electric power industry that guide the development and construction of equipment and systems, as well as for educating members of the industry and the general public application of solid-state electronics to the control and conversion of electric power.
