IEEE Canada Member Grade Elevation Drive: Member to Senior Member

Dear IEEE Members, On behalf of IEEE and IEEE Canada (Region 7), Membership Development Committee would like to sincerely invite all the eligible IEEE Members to consider applying for IEEE member grade elevation. In order to encourage and assist them, IEEE Canada is pleased to organize an information session and a panel discussion on the theme of “IEEE Canada Member Grade Elevation Drive: Member to Senior Member”. Several important topics are expected to be covered within this program including, 1. Importance of becoming a Senior Member and associated benefits. 2. Requirements and qualifications to become a Senior Member. 3. How to obtain reference letters for the applications. 4. How to make a successful application to become a Senior Member. For admission or transfer to the grade of Senior Member, a candidate shall be an engineer, scientist, educator, technical executive, or originator in IEEE-designated fields for a total of 10 years and have demonstrated 5 years of significant performance (e.g, 5 years of research experience after graduated with a PhD).
