Data-Driven Operation of Power Systems

October 3 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am UTC

[] Discover cutting-edge insights on the data-driven operation of power systems in a lecture by Professor Mostafa Farrokhabadi, University of Calgary. This talk presents an evolving line of multidisciplinary research in data-driven operation of power systems, with a focus on electrical distribution systems. The talk will discuss several learning approaches, including reinforcement, imitation, convex, and operator learning, as well as data-driven modeling. Presented use cases span applications from time-domain simulation to optimal operation of distributed energy resources. The talk will close with a brief discussion on future directions.
