Biography

Josef Tadich is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Fellow of the Electrical College, Engineers Australia with over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy industry. He joined Tesla in 2015 where he leads the engineering team in APAC and designed some of the world’s biggest batteries: the 150MW Hornsdale Power Reserve, the 300MW Victorian Big Battery; as well as the technical integration of the residential/utility programs and EV charging infrastructure.

Prior to this, Josef worked in the renewables industry with several roles in onshore and offshore wind specializing in wind turbine design, project development, and technical sales in Europe, Australia, Japan, and Korea. Josef has an Engineering Degree from UNSW, and master’s degrees in Engineering Management and Energy from RMIT and Melbourne University, respectively.
