About the Competition:
The Project Competition at IEEE CSYP Congress 2025 invites undergraduate and graduate students across Canada to present their most innovative projects. This national platform offers students the opportunity to showcase their technical work, gain visibility, and engage with professionals from both academia and industry.
Areas of Interest:
Projects may focus on, but are not limited to, the following domains:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Power and Energy Systems
- Biomedical Engineering
- Sustainable Design and Environmental Solutions
- Signal Processing and Communications
- Robotics, Automation, and Control
Selection Criteria:
All projects will be evaluated by a panel of an experienced industry professionals based on innovation, technical depth, and potential impact.
Awards and Recognition:
Prizes:
- First Place: CAD 500
- Second Place: CAD 300
- Third Place: CAD 200
Certificates and recognition will be awarded to all finalists. In addition, winner will get a chance to be highlighted in the IEEE Canada Newsletter.
Eligibility:
- Open to IEEE Members (undergraduate, graduate, PhD or Postdoc or Young Professionals)
- All shortlisted projects will be invited.
- Registration is required to attend the IEEE SYP Congress 2025.
