Reception: September 23, 2022
Sessions: September 24 – 25, 2022
Location: (Hybrid) Delta Hotels Pearson + Online via Webex

MGC 2022 is a two-day event that brings volunteers and leaders of IEEE Canada together from Young Professionals (YP), Women in Engineering (WIE), Life Members (LM), Student Activities Committee (SAC), and Educational Activities Committee (EAC). The Congress will provide a forum to network and discuss a spectrum of topics to enhance the IEEE membership experience.

The first day will hold a series of joint MGC plenary sessions, the second day will branch into 3 parallel group congresses hosted by YP, WIE, and SAC. The YP Congress will consist of a series of events tailored to YP volunteer and membership interests. In consideration of COVID-19, YP will be making the Sunday congress sessions hybrid, with select IEEE Canada officers attending in person and other attendees joining via Webex. Summaries and/or recordings of the individual sessions will be uploaded to the event webpage upon conclusion.

The MGC is planned to be IEEE Canada’s premier professional development and networking event of the year. Attendees of the Sunday YP session will represent a generation of engineers in Canada poised to make the next big impact on the world. The organizing team aims to create an engaging experience for all our participants. Join us in inspiring the leaders of tomorrow!
